Students met Senior Airman Joel Brashear during class on Thursday, November 10.
Prior to the event, students used Google Earth to track "Joel's Journey" from his hometown in Oklahoma to the air base in Bagram Afghanistan. They looked at the geography, climate, borders, and surrounding cities in Afghanistan, as well as photographs taken via satellite. Students will continue to corrospond with Sr. Airman Brashear via email, and will compile care packages for him and his company during the holiday season.
